El Club Maratón Altomira recaudó 810 euros en la Carrera Solidaria Virtual a favor de la Asociación de Esclerósis Múltiple

El Club Maratón Altomira ha hecho entrega a la Asociación de Esclerósis Múltiple de Ciudad Real, de los 810 euros recaudados en la Carrera Solidaria Virtual celebrada el pasado 4 de octubre. 

En el acto de entrega celebrado en el ayuntamiento han estado presentes el concejal de Deportes Javier Ortega, el presidente y vicepresidenta de Altomira, Ángel Sánchez y Carmen González, respectivamente y Mª Carmen Carneros representando a la Asociación de Esclerósis Múltiple de Ciudad Real.

“La cantidad recaudada y la participación de 150 corredores, viene a demostrar la solidaridad de Alcázar y comarca y los deportistas en general”, afirmaba el concejal de Deportes Javier Ortega, en el acto de entrega virtual celebrado en la mañana de este martes.

La vicepresidenta de Altomira, Carmen González, se ha mostrado satisfecha con la recaudación y la participación en esta carrera virtual que se desarrolló cumpliendo con todas las medidas de seguridad. En la página web del club, www.cdmaratonaltomira.es, se puede ver un video conmemorativo de la carrera, con las imágenes que remitieron los corredores tal y como pidió la organización.

Representando a la Asociación de Esclerosis Múltiple de Ciudad Real, Mª Carmen Carneros agradeció al club Altomira el esfuerzo realizado para organizar la prueba teniendo en cuenta la situación tan complicada y por acordarse de esta asociación “porque no todo es covid en esta época”.

Tanto el concejal de Deportes como los representantes de Altomira y de la Asociación de Esclerósis Múltiple mostraron su deseo que en 2021 esta carrera solidaria se celebre con total normalidad el primer domingo de octubre, tal y como es habitual junto con la Media Maratón que desde hace 24 años organiza Altomira. Este año, esta competición, incluida en el Circuito de Carreras Populares de Ciudad Real, tuvo que suspenderse por la pandemia.

“Ojalá en 2021 podamos celebrar actividades deportivas multitudinarias” deseó el concejal de Deportes. Por su parte la vicepresidenta de Altomira expresó su anhelo de que el año próximo “todo vuelva a la normalidad y esto quede como un recuerdo de colaboración de deporte y solidaridad”.
